Ambassadors David Mack and Richard Murphy address Obama's democracy promotion efforts in The National 1/29/2010    On January 29, Ambassdadors and MEI Scholars David Mack and Richard Murphy were quoted in an article in The National about President Obama's efforst to promote democracy in the Middle East.  Both called for a pragmatic approach, specifically calling for the United States to act as an example to states in the region.
