Center for Pakistan Studies

    

Mission -  The Center for Pakistan Studies shares the mission and philosophy of its parent organization, the Middle East Institute. The Center is non-partisan and does not advocate for any political party or group.

 

Goal - The Center aims to promote knowledge and understanding among the peoples of Pakistan and the United States.

 

Activities - The Middle East Institute's Center for Pakistan Studies will work with academics and experts to produce original research; sponsor speakers; organize an Annual Conference; provide briefings to the media, Congress, and government entities; develop the next generation of Pakistan scholars through the internship program; host a Pakistan scholar in Washington DC; and establish an Online Forum to promote discussion.

 

Center for Pakistan Studies Online Forum - The Online Forum provides two services. First it gives the users access to daily press and media hyperlinks collected by the Center for American Progress.

 

The second icon takes you to a collection of U.S. Governmnet publications, grant announcements, and documents.

 

The Middle East Institute encourages an exchange of views. You are invited to take a few minutes to become a member of the Middle East Institute so that you can read and post comments on the active online Forum.
