  • Current adjunct faculty member at The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs, with previous positions at George Mason University and Georgetown University.
  • Broadcast journalist for the BBC World Service, writing articles and producing radio programs on American, Middle Eastern, and international politics.
  • Has published numerous op-ed, policy, and media articles in English and Persian, including “The Beloved Great Satan: The Portrayal of the US in the Iranian Media sine 9/11” in the Journal of Iranian Studies (Winter 2006) and “Who Wrote the Koran?” in The New York Times Magazine (December 7, 2008).
