Trita Parsi is President of the National Iranian American Council. Parsi has worked for the Swedish Permanent Mission to the UN in New York, where he handled Security Council affairs for Afghanistan, Iraq, Tajikistan and Western Sahara. He also has worked as the General Assembly's Third Committee addressing human rights in Iran, Afghanistan, Myanmar and Iraq. Parsi has his PhD from Johns Hopkins University's SAIS and holds degrees from Uppsala University and the Stockholm School of Economics.

Fares A. Braizat, University of Jordan's Centre for Strategic Studies
Fares A. Braizat is Deputy Director and a researcher at the Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan - Amman. He was on a Fulbright-American Political Science Association Congressional fellowship serving on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, January – August 07. Also, he was a senior fellow at Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC between August-December 2006. He received his PhD from the University of Kent at Canterbury in 2003. He holds an MA from the same university, obtained a diploma in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the University of Lund in Sweden and holds a degree from the University of Mu`tah in Jordan.

Murhaf Jouejati, MEI Adjunct Scholar, National Defense University
Dr. Murhaf Jouejati is a Professor at National Defense University’s Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies. Jouejati is also Adjunct Professor at George Washington University, Adjunct Scholar at the Middle East Institute, and former Director of the Middle East Studies Program at GWU’s Elliott School of International Affairs. He has served as political advisor to the European Commission delegation in Syria during the peace talks, consultant to the Bureau of Arab States in New York with the UNDP, and Information Officer at US-Arab Chamber of Commerce. Jouejati holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Utah and an MA in Arab Area Studies from Georgetown University.
