Middle East Institute Policy on Donor Acceptance and Disclosure
The Middle East Institute (MEI) accepts funds from a broad range of sources for purposes in furtherance of its mission. MEI is grateful for the contributions it receives. As a general policy, MEI does not accept anonymous contributions and prefers unrestricted donations. MEI will respect the intentions of each donor as to how they may be used if the purpose is consistent with MEI’s mission and with the Institute’s mandate for non-advocacy.
MEI publicly acknowledges all its donors in print and electronic brochures and reports, which are publicly available on MEI’s website and on request.
MEI does not sell, trade, or rent its donor lists, and does not share donor information with third parties except as required by law. MEI takes appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized use of its donor lists.
