Asghar Yaghoubi is a painter, sculptor and art teacher. Born in Shiraz, Iran, he has lived and worked in Malaysia since 2008. He is the Founder of the Mahtaab Vocational Training Art Institute and Moka’ab Visual Art Institute. He is also the founder and director of the Cube Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Yaghoubi has participated in more than 40 individual and group exhibitions.

Artist Asghar Yaghoubi, who was born in Shiraz, Iran, moved to Malaysia in 2008. An accomplished painter and sculptor, he also teaches art at the Cube Gallery, of which he is the founder and director. The gallery is the first and only art gallery in Southeast Asia owned by an Iranian.
