Dr. Mohammad al-Asad is a Jordanian architect and architectural historian. He is currently the founder and director of the Center for the Study of the Built Environment. Dr. al-Asad earned his bachelor´s and master´s degrees in architecture from the University of Illinois and his PhD in architectural history from Harvard University.
