The Middle East Institute is proud to host a slide show and talk featuring the photographs of more than a dozen Saudi women photographers who have turned their lenses on Saudi society and culture. Their unique work has been collected in a book, Photography Through the Eyes of Saudi Arabian Women, conceived and  edited by photographer Rania A. Razek. Ms. Razek will discuss how the project came into being, as well as  examine the growing role of Saudi women in photography and the arts. Her discussion will be followed by a screening of selected photographs and a book signing.
