Daniel W. Stoker is a research assistant for MEI scholars Paul Salem and Khalil al-Anani.  Daniel completed his B.A. in Social Studies Education at BYU-Idaho and spent four years teaching U.S. history and Contemporary World Problems at Othello High School in Washington state. In 2012 he graduated with distinction from The American University in Cairo with an MA in Middle East Studies. Prior to joining MEI, Daniel interned at the Project on Middle East Democracy where he wrote the Egypt Daily Update.
