Katie Campo is a research assistant in the Middle East Institute’s Oman Library. Katie received her B.A. in International Relations from Brown University and a Master’s in journalism from Columbia University. She served as a history teacher in Shanghai, China before joining the U.S. State Department as a Foreign Service Officer. Katie completed her first overseas tour with the State Department at the U.S. Embassy in Khartoum, Sudan, where she reported on the Darfur crisis.
