Megan Smith is program assistant at The Middle East Institute. She previously served as a policy intern at the Project on Middle East Democracy and development intern at MEI. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in Middle Eastern Studies and Foreign Affairs, and studied Arabic at Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan.
