Klaus Neumann is Professor of History at the Swinburne Institute for Social Research, Swinburne University of Technology. He has authored and edited books about social and public memory, the response to refugees and asylum seekers, and historical justice, most recently Historical Justice and Memory (University of Wisconsin Press, 2015, co-edited with Janna Thompson) and Across the Seas: Australia’s Response to Refugees: A History (Black Inc., 2015).
