Hana Askren is a volunteer assistant coach at New York City’s Beat the Streets’ youth girls’ team and believes that sport can positively impact women’s and girls’ lives. In addition to working as an assistant editor in New York at mergers & acquisitions intelligence service Mergermarket, she assists women as a labor doula. Hana received her BA in Italian Studies and her MA in Arabic Literature from McGill University.
