(Washington, D.C.) - The Middle East Institute (MEI) and the Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on June 23, 2023, to explore avenues of cooperation on projects related to energy and sustainability initiatives in the Middle East.
The MoU is “an ideal opportunity for the Institute to collaborate with regional partners on the challenges, and opportunities related to the energy transition,” said MEI President and CEO Paul Salem.
The Al-Attiyah Foundation is a non-profit organization in the region that strives to offer strong, pragmatic expertise and perspectives on worldwide energy and sustainable development. The foundation honors H.E. Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, who served as deputy prime minister and minister of energy and industry of the State of Qatar.
