Dr. Najib Lafraie is a Lecturer in the Department of Politics at the University of Otago. He served as Minister of Information in the Interim Government of Afghanistan in 1989 and as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs (1992-1996). He is author of Revolutionary Ideology and Islamic Militancy: The Iranian Revolution and Interpretations of the Quran (London: I.B. Tauris, 2009).
