Dr. Netice Yıldız is an Art Historian and an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Architecture at the Eastern Mediterranean University, North Cyprus. netice.yildiz@emu.edu.tr. Her article in The State of the Arts in the Middle East Vol II is dedicated to two artists, Cevdet Çağdaş and İsmet V. Güney, both of whom passed away this summer.
